1960's concrete zig zag lounge chairs with a matching table, each cast with an internal steel armature and formed as a continuous angular plane. Produced in Switzerland, the group reflects a period of use of concrete as a primary structural and sculptural material, with a focus on durability and outdoor permanence.

 

The chairs have sloped backs and seats set on wide, weight-bearing bases; the table follows the same profile at a lower height, maintaining consistent proportion and alignment across the group. The construction is substantial, with thick concrete walls and integrated reinforcement, giving each piece significant weight and stability.

 

Surfaces show weathering from outdoor use, with tonal variation, areas of discoloration, and surface wear throughout.
