French Wrought Iron Armchairs
A pair of mid-century French white wrought iron armchairs in the manner of Mathieu Matégot, each with a slender tubular frame and perforated sheet metal seat and back. The backs are finished with a curled cresting; the legs are gently curved, maintaining a light, open profile. Surfaces show age and use, with wear to the painted finish and areas of patina throughout.
